Bio
Scott Clausen, tenor, currently serves as the Director of Music and Worship at St. Mark's UMC in Easton, MD. He leads a diverse music program for ages 3 through adult. Mr. Clausen has enjoyed working and singing with musicians in a wide variety of locales and venues including groups in New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, San Antonio, and Dallas. He has appeared with the San Antonio Pops Orchestra, the Princeton Singers, the Gotham Scholars, the Highland Chorale, and the Little Orchestra Society at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Recently, he sang Lancelot in Camelot and Benny Southstreet from Guys and Dolls in Annapolis. Other stage credits include Opera and Music Theater productions with local and regional theaters in the Midwest, Texas, and Louisiana. He holds music degrees from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and Northwestern University where he studied choral conducting with Dr. Robert Harris and voice with Dr. Richard Alderson, William Warfield, and Mignon Dunn.
